Apple Exploration

Coin Exploration

We explored coins, and discussed how each coin is special.

We used the coin rhymes to learn about the value of each coin. 

Penny, penny
Worth one cent
Copper brown
and easily spent.

Nickel, nickel,
Thick and fat,
You're worth five cents.
I know that.

Dime, dime,
Little and thin,
I remember,
You're worth ten.

Quarter, quarter
Big and bold,
You're worth twenty-five
I am told!

 

Practicing Position Words

Today for math, we reviewed our spatial vocabulary with position words.  

We used an outdoor obstacle course to practice on top, below, next to, around, through, under and over.
