Fall Festival

We had so much FUN at our fall festival!
Thank you to families that donated their time or items to our special day.  We couldn't have done it without you.

Fire Safety

The NMFD discussed fire safety & procedures with kindergarten today.
They learned about having a safety plan, meeting spot, and what to do if you need help.

After fire safety, we went outside to learn about how
the fire trucks operate and got to explore the inside!

Mrs. Finch & Helping Hands

Our school counselor, Mrs. Finch did a lesson about "Helping Hands".
They discussed ways that hands can help at home, and at school.
Together, students used their helping hands to make handmade butter!
They shared their tasty treat on a cracker.. using manners and kind words
as they passed the tray around the circle.

Math Games

Math games in kindergarten are about so much more than math!
Students are learning about how to work as a team, to take turns,
be honest, to play fairly & problem solve.

TEEN TANGLE
Teen Tangle is one of our favorites.  It's the learning version of twister
where students have the chance to practice those tricky teens.

Shape Collages

Students found within a magazine and sorted them according to their attributes.
Exploring math through a creative process always makes things more fun!

TRIANGLES!

RECTANGLES!

 SQUARES!

 CIRCLES!

Apple Exploration

We used our 5 senses as we explored 3 different apples today.
YELLOW . RED . GREEN
Which one is your favorite?
